This model allows us to spend more time with patients, simplify costs, and provide care that feels personal, accessible, and human.

A Direct Primary Care membership is designed to support day-to-day primary care needs with clear expectations and no surprises. 

Depending on your plan, membership may include:

• Unlimited Telehealth visits during normal business hours 
• House calls (based on membership tier and location)
• Annual wellness visits and physicals
• Select in-home testing (flu, COVID, strep, ECG, and more)
• IV fluids and medications for select conditions
• No copays, no hidden fees, and no insurance billing

A one-time $99 registration fee applies for the lifetime of your membership, with simple monthly pricing and no long-term contracts.

We offer flat monthly rates for small businesses looking for an alternative or supplement to traditional insurance coverage.

Carter Family Practice’s Direct Primary Care membership covers your everyday primary care needs — without using insurance. This means no copays, no deductibles, and no surprise bills for services included in your plan.

We recommend maintaining a health insurance plan (or health-sharing alternative) for services outside of primary care, such as:

• Specialist visits
• Imaging or hospital care
• Emergency services
• Surgeries or major procedures
• Laboratory fees
