For employers, DPC offers a cost-effective alternative to group health plans, helping reduce absenteeism and promote a healthier, more engaged workforce. For employees, it means having a trusted provider they can reach easily — by phone, text, or Telehealth — and care that actually feels personal.
While DPC replaces the need for traditional primary and urgent care coverage, it is not a replacement for health insurance. We recommend that employees maintain a catastrophic or supplemental insurance policy to cover services such as hospitalization, major testing, or prescriptions outside the scope of DPC.
